Mud Pack

Item no. 2

Budapest has been centre for thermal waters since Roman times. A typical Budapesti bathhouse has indoor and outdoor baths, steam rooms and saunas, all fed by hot springs. We go to Dandár, an everyday 1930s bathhouse on our street, and love to sit for hours in the rejuvenating 38-degree water, chatting and relaxing. Many visitors to the city’s most famous baths, like Széchenyi and Gellért, enjoy mineral-rich mud treatments for improving skin health and relieving joint pain.

Mix this mud powder with warm water to make a smooth spreadable paste. Use the mud as a face mask or on your body. Leave it on for fifteen minutes and wash off with warm water.
