Honey

Item no. 2

There is an area in Athens, where we have also stayed, called Kypseli - which means beehive. This honey is from a local, family business. They have been making and selling honey for hundreds of years. The family now have a busy shop in the centre of Athens - and are even selling online, quite modern for the traditional Greek businesses! You often see beehives scattered across the more rural areas of the city, on hillsides and in Keseriani Forest.
