Hársfa Virág Tea

Item no. 4

Hársfa virág tea is made from the fragrant flowers of the linden (lime) tree, that are harvested in late spring and dried. Known for its mild, slightly sweet taste, this tea has been used for centuries in folk medicine to ease anxiety, aid relaxation and sleep. It’s also believed to have anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties, making it a go-to remedy for colds and digestive issues.

It’s a family staple in Hungarian households; Márta grew up on this tea. We both use it when we feel under the weather – drinking litres when we had Covid. Simply add hot water (and honey if you want), steep for a few minutes and enjoy.
